Non-Emergency Services

Mercy Regional EMS Provides 24 hour Emergency and Non-emergency ambulance transportation to the primary service area of Paducah-McCracken County. Thru Mutual aid agreement Mercy Regional EMS will respond to other service areas in the Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois area. In addition, Mercy Regional EMS provides disaster response services to other areas of the state and country as the need is determined.

Non-Emergency Transport

Mercy Regional EMS also provides transportation services for lesser degree needs of patients of our service area. Based on criteria determined by a Communication Dispatcher appropriate unit will be dispatched to handle such none emergent needs.

Advanced Life Support Level of Care- is for patients requiring an advanced level of medical care or monitoring. A very high level of patient care is provided by Paramedics and may include Invasive Airway management, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, maintaining IV solutions and/or IV solutions containing medications.

Basic Life Support Level of Care- is for patients requiring medical monitoring by trained staff. Mercy Regional EMS provides EMT-B certified staff to accompany such needs. EMT-B's provide thorough care and monitoring of patients including pre-established IV monitoring and Oxygen administration.
